Spotify’s new custom playlist artwork tool allows users to design and personalize their playlists, adding a personal touch with unique images, text, and stickers.
Spotify has launched a new custom playlist artwork tool, giving users more control over how their playlists look.
The feature, which allows for personalized playlist design, lets users create custom images, choose text effects, and even upload personal photos.
Users can simply tap the context menu (…) on any playlist and select “Create Cover Art” to start customizing.
Spotify collaborates with famous artists like Clairo Jamie xx and visual designers like Cey Adams to encourage creative expression.
These collaborations showcase how the Spotify playlist artwork tool can create stunning, unique playlist designs.
Users can also add one of 40 unique stickers designed with these artists to personalize their playlist covers further.

According to Payman Kassaie, Associate Director of Brand at Spotify, the custom playlist design tool is built to balance creative freedom with ease of use.
Users without design experience can quickly customize their playlists with backgrounds, custom fonts, and stickers.
The feature is designed to ensure an engaging experience for all, regardless of their design skills, and to provide a platform for creative expression.
Spotify’s playlist artwork customization feature is currently available in beta across 65 markets. Based on user feedback, it will expand.
With over 626 Million users and over 8 billion playlists created globally, this new feature design encourages even more personal and creative expression through playlist cover art.
