Intel’s AI-centric vision at CES 2025

AI dominated the CES 2025 stage, with Intel taking the lead by unveiling its cutting-edge Core Ultra processors. 

Highlighting the event, Intel’s interim co-CEO Michelle Johnston Holthaus introduced the new Intel Core Ultra 200V series for mobile computing and Core Ultra processors for edge AI tasks.

The Intel Core Ultra 200V series, built on the Lunar Lake architecture, sets new standards for ultrathin laptops. 

These processors integrate vPro features for advanced security and manageability while optimizing AI acceleration for seamless Microsoft Copilot+ integration.

Key features of Intel core Ultra Processors:

  • Battery Life: Up to 20.3 hours on standard office applications.
  • Performance: 2x faster application speeds compared to three-year-old PCs.
  • Specifications: 4 P-cores and 4 E-cores, with a clock speed range of 4.5 GHz to 5.1 GHz for P-cores.
  • Memory and Connectivity: Dual-channel LPDDR5x-8533 memory, Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7, and PCI-Express 5.
  • AI Capability: Updated neural processing unit delivering up to 48 TOPS.

200S series: Gaming and creativity reimagined

Expanding its desktop lineup, the 200S Series, based on the Bartlett Lake design, offers robust performance for gamers and creators. 

This series incorporates AI compute engines and doubles the GPU X-cores compared to the previous generation.
